REVIEW:
Want to have fun while you exercise? “Impossible”……… I hear you say. Well think again. Thanks to Nintendo’s Wii Fit Plus exercising has become a lot more fun and with activities like Yoga, Boxing, Skateboarding, Rhythm Kung Fu (just to name a few) you’ll be having a blast in no time without even noticing that you’re exercising.

Let’s start right at the beginning and assume you have never heard of the Wii Fit Plus until recently. The Wii Fit is very simply put an exercise-themed game by Nintendo which includes a balance board that is truly an amazing piece of equipment. The board is extremely sensitive and even the slightest movement of your feet is registered as a shift in balance. Wii Fit Plus dishes up (if you’ll pardon the pun) a variety of fun game modes in which to burn up some calories.

Some of features and game modes of the Wii Fit Plus that you can look forward to enjoy when you purchase the game are:
- The Calorie Counter
- My Wii Fit Plus Routine Selection (Create Custom Workouts)
- Yoga, Aerobics, Strength Training
- Rhythm Kung Fu, Boxing, Skateboarding
- The ridiculous but fun “Chicken” Exercise (You can just imagine what this is all about)
- Obstacle Course, Snowball and many more (I must leave some surprises for you!)

Now if you are planning to train for the Comrades, The Iron Man, to Fight Mike Tyson or you want to drop 5 jean sizes asap, The Wii Fit Plus is probably not going to work for you. If however you want to improve your health and have the most fun possible while doing it, then I strongly recommend buying the Wii Fit Plus. Even though the game is not going to make you super fit, it is ultimately still an exercise game and as a result you will feel your heart racing and the sweat dripping. The difference is that with the Wii Fit Plus, you’ll have loads of fun doing it all while being in the comfort of your own home.

The “BAD”
Now all games do have some “not so good features” and the Wii Fit Plus is no different. There are unfortunately one or two games that are very difficult to play with the balance board. The BMI measurement is also not 100% accurate as it does not take your muscle-to-fat ratio into consideration so don’t take this measurement too seriously. Rather just use it as a guideline for your progress.

Conclusion
Overall though a lot has to be said for a game that makes exercising fun and will improve your health if you stick to it. The Wii Fit Plus is no more going to make you super-fit than what Wii Golf is going to make you a Golf Pro, but it can set you on the path of a more serious exercise program if you have the motivation. You can however easily wake up a bit stiff and sore the following morning if you put yourself through one of the tougher workouts of Wii Fit Plus, but hey isn’t that the whole idea. Wii Fit Plus will definitely help you lose more calories than sitting on the couch doing nothing while eating another “Wacky” Wednesday Burger and Chips……LOL!!!
